A week before the @gpt100miler I was skiing powder in Oregon as part of my taper. Figured it was easy on the legs. To be honest, I was a little caught off guard with this race and the course and conditions humbled me.
Coming in my fitness was good.
We’ve been soaking up as much of Australia and the Great Ocean Road as we can since leaving the Grampians and it’s been fantastic.
Such diversity in landscapes from rainforest to ocean beaches and seaside cliffs. From hot springs to chee
The GPT100 was quite a rollercoaster. My early thoughts: I still suck at 100 miles, it was hot, and that was the most technical race I’ve ever run.
The race got cancelled due to heat emergencies as I was approaching 80mi and at the time I was
My Zero to Dunkeld. 100 miles across the Grampians range.
Here we go! T-3hrs.
Follow along in the live tracking and the @gpt100miler Instagram page.
Live tracking link is in my stories or on the GPT100 site.
See you tomorrow…or in the hosp

We would like to acknowledge that we are using and running on Native lands in the areas we hold our camps. We are running on traditional Shasta, Kurok, Yurok, Modoc, Tolowa Dee-ni, Chetco, Tekelma, Klamath, Paiute, Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, Molalla, Wenatchi, Coast Salish, Nisenan, Washoe, and Yakama lands. The Native peoples were the original stewards of the land we now use and one of our camp goals is to connect our time on these lands to them so that we may gain a better understanding of the land and how to be good stewards of it in the future.
